Tips on Healing Yourself

After watching the movie "Sicko" last week
I realized that Michael Moore wants to help
people who can't afford health insurance.
However, I looked closely at the people
under the socialized medicine system.

Guess what?

They're not any better off than we are.

Why?

Yes they get quicker service.

Yes they get immediate attention for life
threatening crisis.

Yes they get it all for free.

But they're still in the same boat as the
rest of the world...they're all SICK!

(Please note: I'm not talking about traumatic
accidents, only chronic illnesses that have
spiraled out of control)

Listen folks, you can heal yourself!
You don't need to rely on docs, medicine
(socialized or otherwise), exams, x-rays
and all the craziness out there.

You don't need two hundred supplements a
day either!

I'm a strong proponent of learning the ways
to heal YOUR body.

I'm a physician, but who am I to say you
have a nutritional deficiency that's causing
your illness??

I would LISTEN to my patients symptoms, LOOK
at their overall condition and TALK to them
about their options.

You can do the same.

First
Listen to your body. When you're tired, don't take
that coffee, candy bar, or 'energy drink'. Take a
break. Ok, so most of you work in corporate America.
Which boss will tell you it's ok to take a break
when you're tired?

What you can do is go to bed earlier.

Eat healthier foods.

Exercise on your lunch break - a short walk will
do wonders!

Second
Look at your body. Does your skin have a healthy
glow to it? Is your hair hanging from your head
limp or flowing with a healthy shine?

When your eyes are shiny, your hair is not
greasy, and your skin is toned, everyone knows
you feel great!

Fix it!

Stop slathering on garbage skin lotion!
When you eat well, move your body EVERY day,
and drink clean water, your body will look it.

Note: having a great bm everyday is imperative
for a great looking you. Take psyllium or eat
plenty of high fiber foods.

Last but not least...TALK to yourself!
This can be out loud or a soft whisper.

Things to say to yourself....

"Yes! I'm going to walk today for 30 minutes"

"Yes! I feel good today!"

"Yes! I'm going to do 25 situps right now!"

See the difference? "I can't" is not on
the list folks!

"YES! I can" is on the top of your list!

Until next time,
Dr. Judy

Healing Results from Linda

Just spoke with Linda a few days ago and she's feeling
much better. Altough she still notices that certain
foods... namely carbs like bread, crackers, etc. make
her feel worse. During the healing process, it's
important to stay away from starches. Fresh fruits
are usually ok. Proteins like spirulina powder are
great.

One of the main things Linda learned was not to
focus on the disease itself. You see when you
focus totally on the disease, all your energies
going into the 'woe is me' syndrome. Next thing
you know, you're feeling down and depressed
wondering when the illness is going to disappear.

Instead, being consistent in your program, praying
unceasingly, keeping your focus on His word all
turns your mind elsewhere than the disease.

Linda is now on her road to recovery. Yes it did
take some time, but there were no side effects.
No medication needed. No visits to the emergency
room. No huge expenses.

Until next time,
Dr. Judy
