I just got back from Curacao - a tiny island in the
Caribbeans between Aruba and Bonaire. There was a
church conference put on by the Caribbean Worship
Institute with speakers there from all over the
world. Pastor David Durant from Barbados, Alicia
Liverpool from St. Martin, Vivienne Hibbert originally
from New Zealand....powerful, powerful teachers!
Worship leaders! Anointed!
This is the second year I went. The first year
was good, but this year was better by far. Other
attendees said the same thing. Maybe it was where
our hearts were... to receive the fullness of the
power of the Lord.
I had wonderful words of wisdom from these leaders.
It's SO refreshing to be filled with edifying words!
I don't care how well you eat, how much exercise you
do, how much money you spend on supplements...if you
don't have the fullness of God in your heart, you
are dry!
I'm all for being a good steward of your body as
those of you who know me. However, there is a strong
sense of having the Lord working in your heart each
and every day that MUST be present to feel on top
of the world!
If you are not feeling Him...or can't hear His voice
at this time....or not having the 'peace that passes
all understanding'...seek Him out!
I traveled 3,000 miles to search out this special
time with the Lord. Could I have had this time in
my own backyard? Yes, the personal time would be
there no doubt about it.
But when the anointing, teaching, edification is
strong in leaders with those gifts, it's time to
seek them out to learn more!
As the disciples followed after Jesus faithfully,
and then continued with the apostles, they were hungry
to hear the truth. To get healing. To have a touch
on their wounded hearts.
The churches in this country (USA) are not reaching
their flock anymore hardly. Pastors don't know the
names of their flock. Members don't take the time to
listen to one another. No one visits the sick in their
home anymore. Is it any wonder the Christians are
suffering from so many diseases?
Until next time,
Judy
