Have you ever been to a health fair? You know,
the one where they have a zillion supplements,
therapies, that promise to give you energy,
make you look 20 again, and lose weight all
at the same time?
I have seen thousands and thousands of companies
promote their gadgets, supplements, and programs.
I would say about 99% are garbage.
I'll explain how to determine the bad from the
ugly later, but for now I just want to share
with you a few great 'must have' tools to
keep you healthy.
Have a refrigerator stocked with fresh
produce. This is your first basic tool.
Your pantry should be empty, and your frige
full of fresh green munchies like celery,
spinach, romaine lettuce etc. as well as
fruits like blueberries, raspberries, apples,
etc.
My mom, at 72, had just been complaining
about some dizziness. Her blood pressure
was always on the low side until this last
year when it shot up to 150/90.
I asked her what she was eating. Her meals
consisted of salmon, tuna, cheese with lots
of breads and some fruits/veggies.
I took her off all the fatty foods and
had her eat fresh celery daily (about 4 stalks)
as well as salads - fruit/veggie with a small
amount of cod/haddock/sole.
Along with her twice daily walks, her blood
pressure dropped to 140/80 in 30 days.
Food is your medicine folks, don't forget it!
I'll share more tools with you next time,
Dr. Judy

Tips on Healing Yourself
After watching the movie "Sicko" last week
I realized that Michael Moore wants to help
people who can't afford health insurance.
However, I looked closely at the people
under the socialized medicine system.
Guess what?
They're not any better off than we are.
Why?
Yes they get quicker service.
Yes they get immediate attention for life
threatening crisis.
Yes they get it all for free.
But they're still in the same boat as the
rest of the world...they're all SICK!
(Please note: I'm not talking about traumatic
accidents, only chronic illnesses that have
spiraled out of control)
Listen folks, you can heal yourself!
You don't need to rely on docs, medicine
(socialized or otherwise), exams, x-rays
and all the craziness out there.
You don't need two hundred supplements a
day either!
I'm a strong proponent of learning the ways
to heal YOUR body.
I'm a physician, but who am I to say you
have a nutritional deficiency that's causing
your illness??
I would LISTEN to my patients symptoms, LOOK
at their overall condition and TALK to them
about their options.
You can do the same.
First
Listen to your body. When you're tired, don't take
that coffee, candy bar, or 'energy drink'. Take a
break. Ok, so most of you work in corporate America.
Which boss will tell you it's ok to take a break
when you're tired?
What you can do is go to bed earlier.
Eat healthier foods.
Exercise on your lunch break - a short walk will
do wonders!
Second
Look at your body. Does your skin have a healthy
glow to it? Is your hair hanging from your head
limp or flowing with a healthy shine?
When your eyes are shiny, your hair is not
greasy, and your skin is toned, everyone knows
you feel great!
Fix it!
Stop slathering on garbage skin lotion!
When you eat well, move your body EVERY day,
and drink clean water, your body will look it.
Note: having a great bm everyday is imperative
for a great looking you. Take psyllium or eat
plenty of high fiber foods.
Last but not least...TALK to yourself!
This can be out loud or a soft whisper.
Things to say to yourself....
"Yes! I'm going to walk today for 30 minutes"
"Yes! I feel good today!"
"Yes! I'm going to do 25 situps right now!"
See the difference? "I can't" is not on
the list folks!
"YES! I can" is on the top of your list!
Until next time,
Dr. Judy

Healing Results from Linda
Just spoke with Linda a few days ago and she's feeling
much better. Altough she still notices that certain
foods... namely carbs like bread, crackers, etc. make
her feel worse. During the healing process, it's
important to stay away from starches. Fresh fruits
are usually ok. Proteins like spirulina powder are
great.
One of the main things Linda learned was not to
focus on the disease itself. You see when you
focus totally on the disease, all your energies
going into the 'woe is me' syndrome. Next thing
you know, you're feeling down and depressed
wondering when the illness is going to disappear.
Instead, being consistent in your program, praying
unceasingly, keeping your focus on His word all
turns your mind elsewhere than the disease.
Linda is now on her road to recovery. Yes it did
take some time, but there were no side effects.
No medication needed. No visits to the emergency
room. No huge expenses.

More Updates
I spoke with Linda again today.
The rash has stopped spreading from her
feet all the way up to her legs, with
just a small amount on her stomach and
back.
However, her face got overtaken by
the rash in a big way! Her eyes were
almost swollen shut, her mouth is
swollen, and her neck has been
especially itchy.
She called me today in frustration,
but I reminded her that the body
heals from the bottom to the top.
I asked her how her appetite has
been these last few days, and she
said that yesterday was the first
day she felt like eating. So she
make herself vegetable soup.
She was complaining that the itchiness
on her face and neck was totally
unbearable and is there anything she
could do?
Well, with limited supplies, I
thought about her choices.
I knew she had protein powder at
home so I suggested she drinks
a big glass, with half a scoop
of protein powder every 2 hours.
Why protein?
Because when there is inflammation,
itchiness, redness, infection of
any kind, the body needs lots of
extra protein to repair itself.
It's like running out of nails
when you're building a house!
No nails, no house!
Linda drank her protein shake
faithfully every 2 hours and reported
that the itchiness AND the swelling
had reduced greatly. She was happy!
I had drink the protein instead of
eating it since she had not been
eating much the last few days. A
steak would have been difficult on
her digestive system.
Soon, I'll let you know how fast
the rash, and any disease, can heal.

The Healing Process
Classic case
I have a patient I've been working with on
and off with for several years. I want to
share with you her experience. It's classic!
Background
Linda (name has been changed to protect
the guilty!) had been a hair stylist for
years. She used to do high lights, perms,
etc without using gloves. Talk about a
toxic environment!
She was in the business for almost 20 years.
Current
Linda started complaining about a rash
that developed on her thigh. It was
itchy, hot, red, but no pustules.
She sent me pics from her cell phone
but it was hard to tell what it could
be. She started getting nervous when
they spread all over her body and
making her life miserable.
History
Linda had the exact same rash when
she was 5 years old and again at 12.
Her parents took her to the doctors
but they had no idea what it was.
Current
So I looked up a few pics on the internet
but couldn't really determine what it was
either. But it didn't matter because I
knew that the toxins were trying to come
out of her body. She just needed some
help to get rid of them faster.
I had her do an Ionic Foot Bath each
morning and the water was black! A sure
sign of toxicity. Then she got psyllium
to make sure her bowels were working and
I also had her do a colonic.
Then, she slathered clay all over her
body. Plus she drank a small amount
hourly, according to my instructions.
Success!
Her itchiness reduced greatly,
the redness went away, certain patches
began to disappear.
You see, it's not the diagnosis that
counts, the focus is on having the tools
to get rid of the disease. The skin is
the largest eliminative organ in the
body and will be the quickest avenue
for toxins to exit.
Her years of working in an extremely
toxic environment took its toll on her
organs. By giving the skin a way to
pull the toxins out faster, via the
clay and colonic, the inflammation was
not as intense.
You can use these simple tools as well.
Just don't focus on the disease, focus
instead on ways of eliminating the root
issue.
Until next time,
Dr. Judy

Watch Funny Movies!
If there's one thing I have seen my patients
NOT do is laugh, be joyful, smile a lot, or play!
We are a world that doesn't laugh enough,
and enjoy all that we have. We get so caught
up in our work we forget all that life has to
offer.
One of my patients was so intent on getting
well only so he could go back to work!
On his death bed he admitted that he
was not focused on life but only on
surviving. How sad.
The centenarians - people who live over
100 - have been studied by many groups
now. Everyone it seems, wants to learn
how they end up living to such a ripe old
age.
Do you know what the studies show
over and over again?
It's not that they are vegetarians,
most of them have a pretty poor diet
by most standards.
It's not that they work hard and are
rich, since most of them live at a
middle income level or lower.
The #1 thing they all had in common
was that they prayed - believed in God-
and that they were Happy!
Please people.
Lighten up!
Tell a joke or two.
Watch funny movies.
Laugh more!

How to Turn Your Disease Around
There are four stages of diseases:
area, you need to understand that the first stages
of disease is usually most noticeable in the physical
area. Headaches, fatigue, rashes, etc.
When its on the emotional area it can show up
as depression, anxiety, overwhelmed, anger, etc
Think about it.
Happy people may have some health challenges,
but they won't hardly ever mention it. They have
nice things to say about everyone. Optimistic
about life in general. They go with the flow.
Oh, you don't know anyone like that???
Then you are definitely hanging out with the
wrong crowd! And hanging around with negative
people constantly will definitely put your emotions
in a downward spiral.
Ok, so how do you reverse emotional imbalances?
1) Hang with uplifting, motivating people. If you
can't find them in your circle of friends, make
new friends! You can join meetup.com or
other organizations.
2) Make sure you stay away from sugar and
simple carbohydrates - that means stuff like
cheese doodles, chips, breads, crackers, etc.
Instead, eat more protein and vegetables.
3) Work out. Exercise. Move your body at
least one hour every single day.
4) Drink a protein shake that has amino acids,
minerals, and digestive enzymes. American
Sports Nutrition is a good brand.
Avoid soy protein shakes. They tend to be
too mucus forming and not helpful if you
suffer from asthma, sinusitis, allergies, etc.
5) Eat 3 meals daily. It's been proven that
eating at least 3 good meals with protein,
small carb, and fat (like eggs with fruit and
toast with butter) make a huge difference in
mood swings.
6) Have at least one good poop daily!
I have seen people with severe depression do
a series of colonics feel a thousand times happier!
Herbs that clean out the bowels are ok, but
there's nothing like a good series of colonics
to clean out the pipes.
7) Spend time outside in the sun. Take a walk,
bike ride, swim, but get your skin in the sun.
In the late 1800's it was believed that Heliotherapy or
Sun Therapy was beneficial for many diseases.
Now we slather on poisonous suntan lotion, wear long
sleeves, and hide from it.
Use common sense - but an hour a day in the
sun is not going to kill you.
8) There are certain herbs that have proven very
beneficial for emotional disorders. However, with
so many people on medications, I won't tackle
that arena.
Instead, I suggest you delve into aromatherapy.
Sniffing lovely fragrances all day in your house, car,
or office can really set a whole new mood.
I took an aromatherapy class and attended many
conferences. It was great to be able to make
fragrances that actually healed people.
Definitely worth a try!

Fighting the Demons that are Trying to Destroy You
Ultimately, Satan does not want you well.
He wants you sick, discouraged, devoid of all hope.
Then he thinks he has you.
All of my patients, barr none, have a lie that
they have allowed to come into their lives.
It wreaks total havoc. But it doesn't have to.
Let's talk about some of the lies and what
happens when you listen to them....
1) 'I'm not good enough'
This one comes in many forms. People will
think they are too ugly, too fat, too overwhelmed,
too confused, too poor... and the list goes on.
This lie usually comes some time during childhood
when there was not enough positive affirmation
from mom or dad. They were either too busy
or just weren't interested enough or caught up
in their own issues.
The danger in this lie is that if we don't feel
good enough about ourselves, our self esteem
can take a real nose dive.
We can lose our self confidence to move
forward in our true God created talents.
Fear sets in.
Anxiety overtakes us.
And then things get really ugly....
When these negative patterns continue,
there tends to be a backlash. We fight
back with angry words, sarcasm, criticizing,
and any other horrible thing that oozes out
of our mouths.
This then leads to a break down in the
body.
The organs, cells, tissues, and every other
system in your body God created reacts
to such extreme self-hatred.
What can result?
Anything from diarrhea and vomiting to
liver cancer, heart disease, diabetes and more.
" A merry heart doeth good like a medicine:
but a broken spirit drieth the bones"
Proverbs 17:22
Next time we'll talk about how to turn this
around....
Until next time,

Dealing with Emotional Issues in Stage 1
In about eighty percent of the cases I see, I can
usually get people out of Stage 1 or 2 within
twenty-four hours or less.
Healing any disease is easy when you're only
dealing with the physical aspect.
Take a few herbs, get extra sleep, maybe a
therapy or two. Not difficult.
However, the disease always comes back.
Why?
Because the root causes are not being addressed.
Let's talk about how to heal your diseases so
they never come back.
Most people eat out of emotions. I know I do.
If I'm especially upset, I tend to reach for that
Mrs. Field's chocolate chip cookie or go for a
nice cool chocolate chip mint ice cream
(ben & jerry's of course!).
But when I take the time to look into why I
have a stomachache, low back ache, or pain
of any kind, I can trace it back to an emotional
issue.
There have been a few people who have done
some excellent research on how emotions are
directly connected to our well-being.
Dr. Cheryl Townsley is one and Pastor
Henry Wright is another that I have a great
deal of repect for their work.
Here's the gist of it...
When you have pain or discomfort of any kind,
look to see how you are feeling emotionally.
If your stomach is bloating or cramping, look to
see what new ideas are in your life that you
are resisting.
If you have constant headaches, look to see
what is causing the tension. Working with
control freaks? Living with a drama queen?
If you have sinus issues are you living or
working with someone who is a constant
source of irritation to you?
Feeling irritable, tense, or out of control leads
to anger, hatred, unforgiveness, anxiety and
much more. These emotions have a direct
relationship to your organs and even down
to your blood cells!
One of my teachers, Dr. Bernard Jensen,
would say that while he doesn't advocate
divorce (nor do I) there does come a time
when you must separate yourself from
people who are causing you to be sick.
Think about it.
Do you realize that some circumstances or
some people can cause you so much emotional
stress that your body can become sick?
Is it worth it?
Only you can decide.
Until next time,

Getting Out of Stage 1 Diseases
To heal yourself when you have the first
signs and symptoms of disease... you have
to stop - drop - listen!
First Step
Stop what you're doing.
Are you working frantically everyday?
Working long hours between work, family, spouse?
Cooking, cleaning, shopping, paying bills - it's
too much!
Call to make an appointment for a massage.
Get reservations for a Comedy Club/dinner.
Buy tickets for the movies.
Now!
These few things will stop the work cycle but
they certainly won't heal you. It's just a baby
step.
The next baby step is to start getting to
sleep earlier. Getting to bed at one or two am
is just too late for your body. Ten or eleven
o'clock is more reasonable.
Even if you're reading your Bible or praying,
it's still a step toward relaxing your body
from the day's stress.
The most important step is this...
Stop eating after 6:00pm.
I can't emphasize this enough!
Your stomach Must take a break. If you
eat or drink right up until the time you go
to bed, your stomach has to digest your
food all night long. That's work.
Isn't your body already overworked?
No food.
No drinks.
Then when you wake up, you'll start feeling
hungry.
You'll start feeling more awake and alive
instead of so groggy and foggy!
Ok, more baby steps next time....
Until then,
Dr. Judy

Until then,
Dr. Judy

Stage 1 Symptoms Continued...
So why are the symptoms still there?
Because when your body is so stressed that
it doesn't have the opportunity to heal, it
goes into a 'survival' mode. It will try to
use every avenue to get rid of the stress.
You'll feel very tired.
You won't want to get up in the morning
You sit down for a few minutes and
you instantly fall asleep.
These are all signs that your body has had
enough and it just wants to repair and heal
itself.
This is the time to go away for a weekend
to some quiet place where you can spend
time praying, relaxing, and sleeping...
sleeping...
and sleeping some more!
Everytime you get up, you drink a ton of
water and go back to sleep.
Take long soaks in the bathtub.
Have a massage.
Read a light novel.
Watch a comedy movie.
By giving your body the down time it
so desperately needs, you will be on
the first step to recovery.
Next time we'll talk about what you
have to focus on to get out of your
stage one disease state.
Until next time,
Dr. Judy

Stages of Sickness
Ok, so you're sick with some kind of chronic
illness that just doesn't want to go away.
You've had every test done known to the
traditional medical community. You've had
every specialist look at you.
But you are STILL sick!
Let's look at the stages of sickness to know
how to get you healed...
Stage #1
This is when you begin having constant
headaches, drippy nose, run-down-feeling,
or just don't seem to ever feel good. This
stage usually begins in your early years,
either in your childhood or early twenties.
Now most of us have parents who would
simply give us an aspirin, cough syrup, or
some over the counter medicine.
These help for a short time.
Because the body is still pretty strong,
the sickness goes away only to return
again in few short months, maybe with
a fever. Or maybe it will stay a little
longer.
As you enter into the work force and
begin the daily grind of living from pay
check to pay check, the chronic conditions
now become allergies or migraines or a
bit more intense.
Again, aspirin works sometimes, but now
you might be going to the doctor to get
something a bit stronger.
Life gets a bit more hectic as well.
Now there's new car payments, a
house payment, or new relationships
are a big part of your life.
No time to slow down.
As you get a bit older and marriages
come and go, children come into the
scene, or there's a move up the job
ladder... it all leads to the same thing...
no time to let your body just rest
and heal.
So the allergies, migraines, stomachaches
become a bit more intense. It seems that
all year round, you have some kind of
sickness that won't go away. You get up
feeling tired, and you go to sleep exhausted!
Wow! Your body is spinning out of control!
What to do?
The doctor says you need gall bladder surgery,
hysterectomy, or stronger medication to get
your blood pressure down before you have a
stroke. A stroke? You're too young for that!
The doc tells you to exercise more to lose
the weight, but who has time for that?
Then you wake up one morning and can't
hardly catch your breath. Ok, time to head
back to the doctor's office because this is
getting serious.
He does a whole bunch of tests and finds
that your levels are all within range.
But why are you having shortness of
breath? Why are you feeling so horrible
every morning?
... stay tuned for more....
Until next time,

Why Are We So Sick?
Sad to say but all I see around me is sickness.
People are not happy because they don't feel good.
I know that I wake up feeling like I had a sound
night's sleep, with lots of energy, I can handle just
about anything the day throws at me.
Now I will say, a big part of the problem is that
most people don't understand sickness.
In my clinic, people would constantly tell me
that they ate well, but couldn't understand why
they had all their aches and pains.
This blog is a no-holds-barred information center.
I won't hold back from telling you the truth
about what it takes to be free of your diseases.
My dear friends, you can have a life that is rich
and full of energy! But you must first learn about
your body.
I will be presenting from a biblical perspective,
only because it is my belief. I am not here to
persuade anyone, but only to offer choices.
Stay tuned for the disease-free ride of your life!
Warmly,
Dr. Judy
