Feel Good Focus

Why does everyone focus on their disease?
Do you ever notice how some people go into
excruciating detail about their latest
doctor visit - the results - on and on...!

Please!

I'm not interested in how many aches and
pains you have when we're out relaxing
at the beach!

Maybe it's a doctor thing. I've learned
not to tell anyone I'm a naturopathic
physician now. It used to be a badge of
honor when I first opened my clinic to
brag that I work as a naturopath and the
director of a alternative health clinic.

But after 15 years, I'm not so vocal about
it because everyone starts asking me what
to do about their chronic conditions.

Although...I have noticed that some people
seem to enjoy talking about their illnesses
to anyone who will listen.

Are people lonely?

Is that why they think others are interested
in hearing the sordid details?

My take on this is to stay focused.
Staying focused on feeling well, being around
people who talk about other things than
their health, or on Godly issues.

I was just at another conference. This time
it was with Rick Joyner's crowd and was amazed again
that the immediate focus during prayer time was healing
physical pain. Hours and hours of praying
for people's pain. I didn't last there long.

Most people were grossly overweight which
would be the first thing I would pray for.
More strength and wisdom to learn what it
takes to lose the weight and feel great.

Let's get focused friends!

My focus is on feeling good every single
day so I can do what God wants me to do
for that day.

Until next time,
Judy
